1. Information We Collect

We collect personal information necessary to schedule, perform, and record mobile notary services in compliance with Wyoming law. This includes:

• Contact Data: Name, phone number, physical address, and email address, identification number/state/expiration. Passports accepted. IDs can be expired up to 3 years.

• Document Details: Types of documents requiring notarization (e.g., deeds, wills, power of attorney). A full copy of these documents must be scanned or photo copied by cellphone or other means and sent to my phone 307-333-3974 or to my support email at kayesmobilenotaryservice@gmail.com prior to services being rendured so that accurate quoting can be made, along with any discounts added. 

• Payment Data: Credit card or banking information collected via secure third-party processors, Stripe and in rare cases Venmo, Paypal, Zelle, Cash App. A merchant fee of $3.50 will be charged per transaction.

• Notary Journal Entry: Information mandated by Wyoming state law (e.g., signature, type of ID presented).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information strictly for business and legal operations, including:

• Mapping routes and traveling to your physical location.

• Scheduling appointments and processing non-refundable booking transactions.

• Managing Reschedules: Maintaining your data to apply previous payments toward a rescheduled appointment slot.

• Maintaining the official, legally required Notary Journal.

3. Data Protection and Document Privacy

• We do not read or store the contents of your documents beyond what is legally required to identify the document type for our notary journal.

• We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

• Financial data is handled through encrypted payment gateways; we do not store raw credit card details on our local devices.

4. Policy for Failed Signings and Reschedules

• Because we operate on a no-refund policy, personal data associated with a booking remains in our scheduling database to facilitate any eligible rescheduling windows.

• If a signing fails due to identification or document issues, contact information and journal entries regarding the refusal will still be securely retained to fulfill state record-keeping compliance.

5. Legally Mandated Disclosures

Under Wyoming law, notary journals and public records may be subject to inspection by lawful authorities, court orders, or subpoenas. We will disclose your information only when strictly required by law.

6. Your Rights and Contact Information

You may request to update or correct your contact information for future reschedules by contacting us directly.
