Mobile Notary Service Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: October 23rd 2025
State of Jurisdiction: Wyoming
1. Acceptance of Terms
By booking and paying for mobile notary services, you (the "Client") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Scope of Services
The Notary Public will travel to the agreed-upon location within Wyoming to perform notarizations authorized under Wyoming state law. Travel fees are .70 cents per mile round trip from my home location, which is right by Casper International Airport, which is where the miles will be charged to and from. However, to avoid paying these services I offer a one-time discount of the travel fee and Stripe merchant fee of $3.50 for a 5 star review on Google. Google reviews must be made prior to me leaving your residence. If you delete your review, you will be charged the discounted amount, and will have 24 hours to pay or will be reported on for theft of services.
The Notary Public is not an attorney and cannot provide legal advice, draft legal documents, or select the type of notarization required. However, I am happy to do so but cannot be held liable if I create the wrong document for your needs and situation and I waive all liability for this service. You will also be charged for document creation. $10 per document. $5 for each copy of the printed document and $5 to scan and email you the document. $5 to mail the document + the cost of postage, paid prior to mailing or signing.
3. Client Responsibilities
The Client agrees to ensure the following conditions are met at the time of the appointment:
Valid Identification: All signers must present a current, government-issued photo ID with a physical description and signature (e.g., driver’s license, passport).
Document Readiness: Documents must be fully completed and ready for signature. The Notary cannot notarize blank or incomplete documents.
Willingness and Capacity: All signers must be present, competent, and signing of their own free will.
Refusal to Notarize: The Notary reserves the right to refuse service if proper ID is missing, signer competence or willingness is in doubt, or if fraud is suspected. The Notary also reserves the right to refuse notary services if the client has a bad attitude or is making threats, especially because this shows that there may be fraudulant activity. Any suspicion of fraudulent activity will be reported to the police. You will be expected to provide a copy of your ID, current address, email and full name prior to notarization, along with an emailed copy of the documents that you wish to have signed to kayesmobilenotaryservice@gmail.com or photo copy sent to the owner's cellphone at 307-333-3974 so that the proper price and service fees can be acknowledged by the signee prior to service or payment.
4. Fees and Payment
Fees include a base notarization fee per signature/act set by Wyoming law, plus a mobile travel fee agreed upon prior to dispatch. They also include service fees which vary depending on documents that need signing, length of time it will take to sign along with additional service fees such as creating documents, printing, mailing, scanning, etc (see above), and merchant fees for using Stripe for credit cards $3.50. Venmo, Cash App, PayPal and Zelle will be accepted if Stripe is having issues. Same merchant fee applied. You will be invoiced for your email or I will charge your card when I arrive for services to be rendured.
Payment is due in full at the time of booking or immediately upon arrival, prior to the execution of notarial acts.
5. No Refunds and Rescheduling Policy
All sales and fees are final. No refunds will be issued under any circumstances once the appointment is booked and the travel time or administrative work has commenced.
If you need to cancel or change your appointment time, you may reschedule at no additional penalty provided you give at least 24 hours' notice before the scheduled appointment window.
If the Notary arrives at the location and cannot perform the notarization due to Client unavailability, invalid identification, incomplete documents, or refusal of signers, the appointment is considered fulfilled, the fees are forfeited, and a new booking fee will apply to reschedule. You will also not be refunded any money paid under these circumstances, so please make sure that you have read the policies and are ready for your appointment.
6. Limitation of Liability
The liability of the Notary Public is strictly limited to the professional fee paid for the specific notarial service. The Notary is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from the rejection of a document by a receiving agency, recorder's office, or court.
7. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming.
You will not receive a refund for any reason, only a reschedule for mobile notary services.
You can reschedule as many times as you need.
You are able to wait until your appointment to pay, and do not need to pay ahead of time.
Please contact support at kayesmobilenotaryservice@gmail.com if you have any questions or before filing any disputes or call the owner's personal cell phone at 307-333-3974.
